| 1) Always be courteous to other archers. |
2) Crossbows, spears, guns, sling shots, and Broadheads are NEVER allowed. ONLY Traditional archery bows (such as longbows and recurves) and compound bows are allowed! |
3) Never ride, bike or skate on the field. |
4) Never throw or kick anything on the field, such as frisbees, soccer balls, and golf balls. |
5) Never use the field for sports or recreation other than archery. Always use the field for its intended purpose ONLY as a target range! |
6) Never let children on the field without strict adult supervision. |
7) Always look for distance shooters. BEWARE that compound bows ARE allowed and usually need to be shot from a distance! |
8) Never cross archery lanes without looking. |
9) Pets are never allowed on the field. |
10) Never distract other archers when they are shooting. |
11) Never bring or drink alcohol on the field. |
12) Never shoot, walk, or stand on the field while intoxicated. |
13) Never shoot across lanes at other targets. |
14) Never shoot up into the air, at trees, or at anything living. |
15) Never litter the field or dump trash contents, keep the field and target bales clean of debris. Balloons and broken arrows should be placed in the trash bin since these are not biodegradable. Always clean up before leaving the field! |
16) Always be careful & aware of archers on the field when retreiving arrows. Never walk, stand, sit, run or linger behind bales being actively used! |
17) Never tie-up or hold more target bales than you actively need so that other archers may shoot. |
18) Target bales are first come first serve, but if the field is full and archers are waiting, either share a bale or shorten your time using the bale so that others may shoot. |
19) Never make a target of anything that might cause injury or become a hazard, such as cans and glass objects. |
20) Always use common sense & follow these rules. |
21) Abide by other Golden Gate Park rules. |
